TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR INFORMATION

Sanction proposals will be accepted beginning October 1 of each season. Approved events will be sanctioned and published approx. 6 weeks later. You may apply for events throughout the season as well. If desired, email juniors@krva.orgto find out what other applications have been entered prior to proposing an event.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Apply for each age group AND division as a separate event. Some examples:
-14CL and 16OP on the same day make two separate applications
-17CL and 17OP (playing separate pools) on the same day make two separate applications
-17CL and 17OP in an OPEN event* (so they play CO/CH mixed tog.) make one application
*there is a 20-team minimum for an open event

2. PLEASE PUT YOUR AGE GROUP (14CL, 15OP, etc.) IN THE NAME OF YOUR EVENT WHEN YOU APPLY.

3. E-mail your pool play to poolplay@krva.org and your results to results@krva.org for posting to the web site. You must include the event code, name and date of the event. Your document will be posted in 2 to 3 business days.

4. All tournaments will accept PayPal. This does not force everyone to use PayPal, they can still pay by check. For payments made through PayPal, you will be sent one check for all entries collected online after the close date of the event.

5. Once an event is sanctioned, the host has access to a private page to administer tournaments (see teams entered, confirm whether payment was and how, etc.). As tournament hosts receive checks, they use that same page to mark teams paid.

6. Hosts have the option of either depositing the checks, or holding them until the tournament date.
