OPEN GYMS
Open
gyms that are not sanctioned
by the region are not insured. They sometimes involve adults
who are not screened and/or unregistered players or coaches.
The region cannot monitor such an event. Therefore you /
your child have no protection through your KRVA member benefits.
A
club running an unsanctioned open gym is doing so as a private
entity, not as club within KRVA (and they are therefore personally
liable for any injury, misconduct, facility damage or other
issues). If you choose to participate in an unsanctioned
open gym, you
assume the same personal liablity / risk.
