The Keystone Regional Volleyball Association is a non-profit organization that is designated as one of the 41 geographic regions of USA Volleyball.  USA Volleyball is the National Governing Body for the Sport of Volleyball in the United States and is recognized by the Federation International de Volleyball (FIVB) and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC).

The KRVA Region is defined as the state of PA; except Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Lawrence, Beaver, Washington, and Greene Counties. Click here for a map of the boundaries of KRVA.

KRVA MISSION

The Region shall promote the development and growth of volleyball. To advance this purpose, the Region shall organize, conduct, and support the following activities.

• To teach volleyball to children and adults by holding clinics conducted by qualified instructors.
• To provide practice sessions, classroom lectures, clinics, camps, competitions, seminars, and panel discussions through which individuals may learn coaching, playing, officiating, and scouting techniques.
• To promote and conduct area, regional, state, zonal, national, and international competition.
• To act as a Regional Volleyball Association and a member organization of the Regional Operating Division of USA Volleyball (hereafter “USAV”) within the Geographical and Demographic area defined by USA Volleyball.
• To achieve these purposes the Region may receive and hold money, tangible or intangible property, or real estate.
• The Region may borrow money, mortgage or pledge real or personal property as security, use, or expend the funds and property of the Region and do all things necessary or convenient to carry out the powers granted

KRVA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Members of the KRVA Executive Council are elected for two year terms by the General membership at the annual meeting of the Board. Advisory Council members are appointed by individual members of the Executive Council and approved by the Board for a 1 year term.
