KRVA HIGH PERFORMANCE - Tryout results

Congratulations to all 2008 KRVA Girls' HP Tryout participants!

The talent level at all tryouts was very high in this inaugural year for KRVA High Performance. We look forward to a very successful camp this summer, led by Charlene Johnson-Tagaloa. A total of 70 girls attended the 3 tryout sites offered this year. This included 47 in the Youth age group and 23 in the Select age group. KRVA High Performance appreciates the support and interest of the athletes and their families in its programs.

KRVA High Performance is pleased to offer invitations to the summer camp to 36 athletes that attended a tryout, 24 in the Youth age group and 12 in the Select age group and looks forward to seeing them this summer. The athletes selected are listed by 8-digit code below.

A reminder on how to read the 8-digit code: The first two numbers indicate the athlete's month of birth; the next two are day of birth; the final four are the final 4 numbers of the athlete‚s social security number OR another 4 numbers entered at the time of signing up for the tryout.

EXAMPLE: An athlete born May 11 with the last 4 numbers of the SSN being 1234 would have the 8-digit code of 05111234. If you did not provide the last four digits of your SSN or a four-digit alternative code, the code will end in "XXXX". EXAMPLE: An athlete born May 11 without providing SSN numbers or code will be 0511XXXX.

How to accept placement in camp
To accept placement, a parent should email HP@KRVA.org with the following email:

Text: I, [Parent or Guardian Full Name] of [Daughter's Full Name], accept the invitation to participate in the KRVA HP Camp August 3rd through the 6th at Lock Haven University at the cost of $450.

If you wish to decline placement, a parent should email HP@KRVA.org with the following email:

Subject: KRVA HP Camp Invite Declination

Text: I, [Parent or Guardian Full Name] or [Daughter's Full Name], decline the invitation to participate in the KRVA HP Camp.

If you have been placed on the alternate list, you may be placed in the camp, as positions become available. There is no guarantee of additional camp positions being available and space is limited. If any players decline invites, the alternates are selected, based on their rank, to the camp. The KRVA High Performance commits to notifying the player and parents as soon as a spot is available, so planning is easier.
