Junior Scorekeeper Requirements
THIS IS A VERY BASIC CERTIFICATION LEVEL, WHERE TRAINING TAKES PLACE ENTIRELY WITHIN THE CLUB.

- Be a registered member of KRVA and a member of the respective club for the current season.
- No age requirement.
- Be trained within the club by direction of the Club Scorekeeper Representative for the current season.
- Be recommended by the Club Scorekeeper Representative to the Scorekeeper Chairperson for approval as a certified Junior Scorekeeper.

The JUNIOR SCOREKEEPER certification is for those individuals, juniors and adults, involved with junior teams that compete in events requiring certified scorekeepers when teams are assigned as work teams to matches. It is a basic certification that is acceptable at any junior event. For the Region, these individuals will be trained within each club by the club scorekeeper representative. The club scorekeeper representative will recommend to the scorekeeper chairperson those individuals to be certified as junior scorekeeper.
REGISTRATION – All certified scorekeepers must be members in good standing with the Region. For now, being “in good standing” simply means that any registration paperwork and information is up-to-date, and all required fees are paid. All new and recertifying scorekeepers must be registered before participating as a scorekeeper in any event.
PRIOR CERTIFICATION – There is no prior certification required for this certification.
AGE – There is no age restriction for this certification.
