USAV Junior National Referee Requirements
REFEREES PURSUING THIS CERTIFICATION LEVEL MUST BE RECOMMENDED TO USAV, SINCE ONLY USAV APPROVES THIS CERTIFICATION. REFEREES WITH THIS CERTIFICATION LEVEL MAY OFFICIATE AT THE NATIONAL JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO OFFICIATE ANY JUNIOR MATCH IN THE COUNTRY.

NEW
- Be a registered member of KRVA for the current season and maintain good standing for KRVA and USAV.
- Complete the current USAV Referee Test A, corrected to 100%- must achieve at least a 90 on the first attempt. The On-Line version is available after October 15 each year.
- Contact the referee chairperson for specific requirements and more information before December 15 of the current season.
- Must officiate as a full-day official at a KRVA bid or regional championship event, be assigned as a clinician for a KRVA Referee Clinic, or be assigned as a rater at a KRVA approved training/ratings event.
- If notified by either the Referee Chairperson or the Scorekeeper Chairperson, complete additional requirements as directed.

RECERTIFYING
- Be a registered member of KRVA for the current season and maintain good standing for KRVA and USAV.
- Attend a USAV National Referee Clinic.
- Complete the current USAV Referee Test A as directed by USAV. The On-Line version is available after October 15 each year.
- Must officiate as a full-day official at a KRVA bid or regional championship event, be assigned as a clinician for a KRVA Referee Clinic, or be assigned as a rater at a KRVA approved training/ratings event.
- If notified by either the Referee Chairperson or the Scorekeeper Chairperson, complete additional requirements as directed.
